West Brom have moved ahead of Norwich in the race to sign Benfica midfielder Filip Krovinovic on loan.
According to The Express and Star, West Brom are currently in pole position to land him this summer, despite interest from Premier League side Norwich.
The report claims that West Brom manager Slaven Bilic has asked the club to make a move for Krovinovic, his fellow countryman.

Krovinovic missed the majority of last season after picking up an ACL injury, with Benfica now keen to send him out on loan for regular game time.
Norwich have been heavily linked with Krovinovic in recent weeks, but now look set to miss out to Championship side West Brom.
The Canaries have made two signings so far this summer, with Patrick Roberts coming in on loan from Premier League champions Manchester City and Josip Drmic joining on a free transfer from Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach.
