Norwich City look set to face competition from West Brom in their pursuit of Benfica midfielder Filip Krovinovic.
The Croatian was said to be close to agreeing a loan deal with the Canaries on Friday, however the Baggies are now interested in a deal for the midfielder and look set to rival Norwich in the race to land the 23-year-old, according to Sport Witness via Portuguese outlet Record.
Greek side AEK Athens and Portugal’s Vitoria Guimaraes are also reportedly eyeing a move for Krovinovic, who made just nine appearances for Benfica in all competitions last season due to an ACL injury.

However, the report suggests both Norwich and West Brom have the upper hand despite Guimaraes reportedly coming close to agreeing a deal for the midfielder.
Krovinovic would become Norwich’s second loan signing of the summer should the Canaries strike a deal with Benfica, after Manchester City winger Patrick Roberts joined until the end of the 2019/20 season.
