Norwich target Marvin Bakalorz has extended his contract with Hannover 96, meaning a move to the Canaries is now unlikely.
Bakalorz had been a Summer target for Daniel Farke, with Norwich making to make a move for the midfielder after Hannover were relegated from the Bundesliga.
But Bakalorz has rejected a move away from Hannover to stay with the side as they look to bounce back to the first tier of German football at the first time of asking.

Speaking to Hannover’s official site, Bakalorz said:
Of course, I could have made more money elsewhere, but I always said that was not all, the coach contacted me several times over the phone, Jan Schlaudraff flew through half of Europe last weekend to meet me personally again.
Both of them gave me a great appreciation and told me about their ideas for Hannover 96. I can fully identify with this, everyone knows that this club and the fans have a huge place in my heart. It all fits and I’m eager to get started.
Bakalorz joined Hannover during the 2016/17 season, helping his side gain promotion to the Bundesliga. He became captain of the team during the final months of last season, but was unable to help Hannover avoid relegation to the 2.Bundesliga.
Farke was reportedlt a fan of Bakalorz, but will now have to look elsewhere to strengthen his side ahead of the new Premier League season.
