Norwich City will resist any attempts to lure Max Aarons away from the club this summer.

According to PA journalist Nick Mashiter, Aarons is not for sale and Norwich are yet to receive any enquiries about the defender.

This comes after news on Wednesday that Manchester United were stepping up their pursuit of Aarons, following their failure to agree a deal with Crystal Palace for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Aarons enjoyed a sensational debut campaign with the Canaries last season as he helped Daniel Farke’s side secure the Championship title and promotion to the Premier League.

The right-back was also named as the EFL Young Player of the Season and was in the PFA Championship Team of the Season, alongside teammates Jamal Lewis and Teemu Pukki.

Is Aarons worth more than the £25m Norwich sold Maddison for?
