Norwich City have paid Spanish side Getafe €5m as part of the deal which saw them sign Emi Buendia last summer.
The Canaries reportedly paid £1.5m for Buendia in the summer of 2018, but they have now been made to pay a further €5m due to their promotion from the Championship.
According to Spanish outlet Marca, Norwich winning the title and going up to the Premier League triggered a clause in the deal which has forced Stuart Webber to pay out extra money for the Argentine.

Buendia was one of Norwich’s most impressive players during the season as he set the Championship alight on the right wing.
The 22-year-old racked up eight goals and 17 assists in all competitions for Norwich as they finished on 93 points and won the Championship title – sealing it with a 2-1 win against Aston Villa on the final day.
Buendia will now be looking to kick on and impress in the Premier League next season with Norwich.
