Norwich City left-back Jamal Lewis has revealed that he wants to face a big club on the opening day next season.
The Northern Ireland international says that he hopes playing in the Premier League will help him improve as a player, but he will just be taking each game as it comes.
Norwich will find out their Premier League fixture list next week and Lewis is hoping to see one of the biggest clubs in the league on the opening day.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Lewis said this:
I think it will bring my game to another level. Hopefully, it’ll be another brilliant journey like last season. We’ll just take each game as it comes.

It would be nice to get a big team on the first day. It would be nice to play on a big platform with everyone watching you on the first day.
After missing the start of last season through injury, Lewis went on to play 42 Championship matches as Norwich won the title.
Lewis provided the assist for Mario Vrancic on the last day of the season as the Bosnian sealed the 2-1 win and the title against Aston Villa at Villa Park.
