Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has revealed that talks are underway with Mario Vrancic over a new deal with the club.
Webber claims that he spoke to Tim Krul and Vrancic before they went away this summer, with the former having already now signed a three-year contract extension.
Vrancic’s contract with Norwich is due to expire at the end of next season, after joining on a three-year deal when he arrived in the summer of 2017.
The club are now seemingly keen to agree fresh terms with the midfielder, who is currently away on international duty with Bosnia.

Speaking to The Pink’Un about Vrancic and Krul, Webber said this:
We had good talks with both before they went What we try to do here, myself, Daniel, Delia, Michael and the board, is create an environment where people talk more.
Sometimes everything is through an agent and all the rest of it, but it’s more like, I can speak to Tim Krul or Mario or whoever and say ‘let’s talk, where are we all at, how are we going to develop the club further?’
And what’s been so special about this group with what’s been shown on the pitch and what Daniel has created with them is an unbelievable togetherness and wanting the best for the club.
So when you then get to contract talks it actually becomes quite easy because there is a real level of trust, from the club and ultimately myself, but also the player knows that there’s that trust and there’s not that sort of game playing – because I’m not sat up at the stadium and never see them, seen as a bad guy in a suit.
Vrancic finished the season as Norwich’s second top scorer in the Championship. He managed 10 league goals, along with a further seven assists, and scored the goals to clinch promotion to the Premier League and the title – against Blackburn and Aston Villa.
