Norwich City’s planning for the Premier League is already well underway, with one new signing in the door.
The Canaries have signed Patrick Roberts on loan from Manchester City for the campaign, following spells in Spain and Scotland for the winger.
Another player Norwich have been heavily linked with is Jordan Rhodes on a permanent deal.
Rhodes spent the 2018/19 campaign on loan to Norwich from Sheffield Wednesday, scoring nine goals in all competitions for the club – despite playing second fiddle to Teemu Pukki at Carrow Road.
Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber has now admitted that a deal for Rhodes looks unlikely, due to the finances that would be involved – although he would be interested in bringing him back.
