Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has explained that the club will not be signing Simon Mignolet from Liverpool this summer.
Webber has laughed off claims that Norwich are interested in a £15m deal for the Belgian shot-stopper this week.
Norwich have been linked with a host of players since securing their promotion to the Premier League, but Webber has already rubbished any chances the club have of signing Mignolet – due to the prices involved in any potential deal.

Speaking to The Pink’Un, Webber said this:
Simon Mignolet. I have to say that made me laugh. Nothing against him, he is a top keeper, but just the figures.
That would be the most crazy one I can think of. When I see us linked to keepers for £15m I just smile. Who comes up with this? Why would we do that? It is not right.
The club have already made one signing ahead of their Premier League campaign, with Patrick Roberts arriving on loan from Manchester City.
Roberts spent last season on loan to Girona in Spain, where he suffered an unfortunate injury and failed to score a single goal.
