The club have announced that Jones will spend the 2019/20 season on loan to Eastbourne, who play in the National League South.
Jones was a regular for Norwich’s under-23 side at centre-back last season and caught the eye with his performances.
Liverpool, West Ham and Leicester were all recently linked with a swoop for Jones, which is now unlikely to happen with him moving out on loan from Norwich.
The 19-year-old is yet to make an appearance in senior football, with this loan a good chance for him to hone his skills and improve as a player before coming back to Norwich next summer.
He joined the club from Luton last summer, who Norwich also signed Max Aarons, Jamal Lewis and Akin Famewo from over the last five years.
