Norwich City have reportedly secured a deal to sign Mbaye Diagne from Galatasaray for €17m this summer.
According to Turkish magazine Boxer, Norwich have signed Diange from Galatasaray in a deal worth up to €17m.
The report claims that Diagne is set to leave Turkey and move to England, despite only joining Galatasaray in January.
After arriving at the Turkish giants, Diagne hit the ground running – as he scored 10 goals in 12 league appearances during the season half of the season.
It must be said that this report must be taken with a pinch of salt, given that Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber said that the club would have a small transfer budget and The Daily Mail have claimed that Norwich will only have a budget of £20m.
So, with that in mind, would Norwich spend £15m of that on a striker when the club already have Teemu Pukki? It seems unlikely, but it will be interesting to see how this one develops.
