Teemu Pukki named Norwich City’s player of the year

After all the votes were counted, Norwich City have revealed that Teemu Pukki is the latest player to have his name etched on the Barry Butler memorial trophy.

The Canaries forward has been lethal for Norwich this season, and has notched an impressive 28 league goals for the Canaries this season.

Pukki joined on a free transfer from Danish side Brondby over the Summer, and has to be considered one of the Canaries best ever bargain buys.

The Finn has led his side to the verge of the Premier League, with Norwich taking on Blackburn Rovers on Saturday evening with a point taking them to the top flight.

Pukki’s goals have been vital, with his last coming against Stoke last Saturday that put the Canaries 2-1 up against the Potters at the Bet365 Stadium.

He also scored vital goals against Bolton and Millwall, that have helped the Canaries remain at the top of the Championship table.
