Norwich City midfielder Emi Buendia has been named the Championship Player of the Month for March.
The Argentine midfielder has beaten the likes of Pablo Hernandez, Luke Ayling and Jack O’Connell to the award, after an impressive month.

Buendia started all five of Norwich’s matches in March, scoring three times and assisting two as the club won every single game.
The young winger netted twice against Hull, scored the winner against Swansea and set up two in a 3-1 away win against Millwall at the start of the month.
He makes it a clean sweep in 2019 for Norwich, after Mario Vrancic won the award in January and Teemu Pukki won in February.
Buendia, however, has had a poor start to April after he was sent off against QPR last weekend – although he did score and set up two goals. He’ll now miss clashes with Reading, Wigan and Sheffield Wednesday.
