Norwich boss Daniel Farke is happy following his side’s 3-1 victory away at Millwall on Saturday.
Famed for being a tricky place to play, Norwich continued their promotion push with an impressive victory at The Den to retain their two-point advantage at the top of the Championship.
Farke’s side went ahead early on after an early spell of pressure from Millwall thanks to Marco Stiepermann, before the home side equalised on the stroke of half time.
Captain Christoph Zimmermann restored the Canaries’ lead with a towering header before Teemu Pukki scored his 24th goal of the season to wrap up the victory.
And speaking after the game, Farke revealed his delight following a “complicated” game.
I’m very pleased. Millwall is a tough side and it was a difficult game for us. I’m pleased we could win a complicated game.
The Norwich boss continued:
We put a lot of pressure on them in the second half and the third goal was a big relief. Millwall put pressure on us in the last 10 minutes but we defended well.
Farke revealed he was not pleased with his side’s performance in the first half, however, and demanded for his side to be sharper in the second period.

At some points in the first half our passing was not quick enough and we have unnecessary corners away. We spoke at half time about how we need to be more switched on and we did this.
