Aarons targeted by Premier League trio

Norwich City defender Max Aarons is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report from The Mirror.

The youngster’s mature displays at the back for Daniel Farke’s side appear to have piqued the interests of several top-flight clubs.

Aarons has started in 25 of the Canaries’ 30 Championship games this season and has been instrumental in the club’s rise to the very top of the table in recent weeks.

The 19-year-old has found the back of the net on two occasions already this term and has also been able to contribute with a further four assists from right-back.

The Mirror’s report states that Tottenham have moved ahead of their London rivals in the race for Aarons’ signature, but it is unlikely that Norwich will let their young defender leave easily.

In June, the academy graduate was rewarded with his first professional contract at Carrow Road and is a vital part of Farke’s plans for the future.
