Norwich boss Daniel Farke revealed he was disappointed with Saturday’s 2-2 draw at home to Sheffield United.
The Canaries twice took the lead against the Blades, thanks to goals from Onel Hernandez and Teemu Pukki, but a brace from the ever-present Billy Sharp denied the hosts from claiming all three points.
Hernandez finished off a fine team move to give Norwich the lead after 11 minutes, but Sharp levelled the score from the penalty spot deep into first-half stoppage time.
Pukki put the host’s back in front with his 17th goal of the season after 56 minutes, before Sharp struck late once again, this time nodding in a header with just 10 minutes remaining.

Both sides pushed forward in the closing stages, with Norwich coming closest to snatching the win, but it finished level.
And speaking after the game, Farke revealed that a draw was a fair result despite his frustrations.

The Norwich boss continued after the game, revealing he was happy with how his players dominated proceedings at Carrow Road, but feels the home side should have taken the three points.

It’s not a bad point but we were pretty close to winning the game. We dominated periods of the game. We were much closer to scoring the third goal. We can live with the point but we probably should have had even more.
Farke, however, was slightly disappointed with the manner in which Norwich conceded the penalty late in the first half, but believes the game was a good advert for the Championship.
