The forward had been heavily linked with a departure from Carrow Road in recent weeks but has officially joined the Royals as he looks to rejuvenate his career.
Oliveira had been a pivotal member of Norwich’s first-team squad, but after being frozen out by manager Daniel Farke, a switch away from Carrow Road has materialised.

The likes of Jordan Rhodes, Dennis Srbeny and Teemu Pukki have all been preferred to the Portuguese striker this season, with the Canaries flying high in the Championship.
Reading are in deep trouble this term and have struggled to emerge from the relegation zone. Jose Gomes’ side currently sit precariously low in 22nd place and will be hopeful that Oliveira’s arrival can fire them to safety.
