McLean excited by Norwich’s form

Norwich City midfielder Kenny McLean says that he has been excited watching the club play this season.

McLean joined Norwich in January 2018 from Aberdeen, before going back to Scotland on loan for the rest of the season.

He then joined up with Norwich last summer and started the season with appearances against Birmingham, Stevenage and West Brom before picking up an injury.

The Scottish international the missed a number of months, before finally making his return last weekend against Portsmouth in the FA Cup – a 1-0 defeat at Carrow Road.

Speaking to The Pink’Un, McLean said this:

It’s been excellent. We can see that the team don’t really need me!.

It’s been excellent to watch, but just frustrating not to be a part of, that’s the reason I came here. It’s been really exciting.

McLean impressed on his return to first-team action and could even get a place on the bench when Norwich travel to face West Brom this weekend.
