Norwich closing in on deal for Remy
Norwich City are closing in on a deal to sign Legia Warsaw defender William Remy this month.
According to France Football, Remy is set to sign a three-and-a-half year contract at Carrow Road.
The report claims that Remy is expected to move to England this month and pen a deal with Norwich, who sit second in the Championship.
Remy has impressed for Warsaw over the past year, after joining the Polish club from Montpellier in January 2018.
The 27-year-old is a central defender, but has also featured as a defensive midfielder at times during his career.
Norwich head coach Daniel Farke said earlier this week that he is expecting a quiet transfer window, but they could be about to secure their first signing of the window.
If Remy joins he will be competing with Timm Klose, Christoph Zimmermann, Grant Hanley and Ben Godfrey for a spot at the back.
