Besiktas could step up their interest in Norwich City striker Nelson Oliveira, according to reports from Turkey.
The Portuguese forward’s future at Carrow Road is looking increasingly unlikely, with sporting director Stuart Webber recently confirming that the club will listen to offers for the controversial player.
Oliveira has not been utilised by Norwich boss Daniel Farke this season, with the likes of Jordan Rhodes and Teemu Pukki preferred in the striking roles.

This has prompted speculation regarding the 27-year-old’s next destination and in recent times, Besiktas have been linked with a surprise move in the January transfer window.
The Super Lig outfit are understood to have established an interest in signing Oliveira and according to claims from Turkish news outlet Milliyet, as translated by Sport Witness, the Black Eagles could make a loan move for the attacker in the New Year.
It’s reported that Besiktas’ proposed attempt to sign the former Benfica youngster would be an initially temporary deal, with an option to buy at the end of the current campaign considered.
