Norwich would love to extend Klose’s contract

Norwich City sporting director Stuart Webber has revealed that the club would love to extend Timm Klose’s contract.

Speaking the club’s AGM meeting, Webber has said that Norwich have no plans to sell Klose and would like to keep him beyond the end of the season.

Webber has also confirmed that Norwich rejected offers for Klose before the start of the current season.

Klose was heavily linked with a move to Bundesliga side Hannover but opted to stay with Norwich and has been a pivotal figure at the back.

The Swiss international has scored three times from defence and helped Norwich to the top of the Championship table.

He is out of contract at the end of the season and Norwich will need to tie him down to a new deal before they lose him on a free transfer.
