Hanley set to make comeback in under-23’s match

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke has revealed that Grant Hanley is set to make his return from injury for the under-23 side on Friday night.

Hanley has been out of action since the start of September and now looks set for his first minutes since the derby clash with Ipswich.

Christoph Zimmermann and Timm Klose have been Norwich’s preferred partnership at the back and impressed this season.

The club currently sit top of the Championship and the pair have been excellent in recent months.

Norwich’s under-23’s face Southampton at Carrow Road, where Hanley is likely to start at the back to build up his fitness.

Hanley signed a new long-term contract at Norwich earlier this week and was named as the new club captain over the summer.
