Norwich City midfielder Moritz Leitner has warned that the Premier League is a long way off, with plenty of Championship games left to go.
Leitner says that it would be great to earn promotion to the top-flight, but is aware that the Championship is a tough division.
The German midfielder has been impressing for Norwich this season and recently scored in the club’s 4-3 win over Millwall just over a week ago.

Speaking to Sport1, Leitner said this:
Football is a fast-paced business, which I have learned in recent years, so you should be very careful with statements that go too far into the future.
Of course it would be a hit to get into the Premier League, that’s clear, but until then it’s still a long way off, the league is extremely balanced.
Norwich currently sit top of the Championship after 17 games, sitting two points clear of Middlesbrough and three clear of Leeds in third.
Leitner joined Norwich from Augsburg in the summer in a deal thought to be worth somewhere in the region of £1.5m, following his loan spell at Carrow Road last season.
