Norwich City defender Sean Raggett will have surgery after suffering a major ankle injury whilst on loan at Rotherham United.
Th 24-year-old suffered the injury whilst playing for Rotherham against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium last weekend and as such, he will need to go under the knife.

The news comes as a blow to Raggett, who was hoping to prove himself in the Championship with a view to breaking into the Norwich first team as the Canaries have an option to recall him from loan in January if they so wish.
However, the former Lincoln City star will now miss a significant period of time as he recovers from the injury, as both Rotherham and Norwich have agreed to discuss his recovery program.
Rotherham will miss having Raggett available but they will be unable to bring in a replacement until January unless they can find a free agent they’d like to sign.
