Leeds United face injury crisis ahead of trip to Norwich City
At the time of writing, Leeds United sit top of the Championship table but things aren’t all running smoothly at Elland Road.
Leeds will travel south to face Norwich City on Saturday afternoon without three, possibly four, key players.
Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed that club captain Liam Cooper is facing between two and three weeks out with a hamstring and as such, he’ll be unavailable for selection.
Furthermore, both Adam Forshaw (foot) and Stuart Dallas (thigh) have been ruled out for the game.
Added to that, centre-back Pontus Jansson faces a late fitness test after his recent back issue.
Jansson has returned to training after missing the 2-2 draw with Swansea City but he is still not guaranteed to be fit for the game at Carrow Road on Saturday.
Dallas is also back in training but Bielsa is unwilling to risk throwing him back in immediately.
