Former Norwich City stalwart Wes Hoolahan is in talks to sign with Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town, according to Sky Sports.
The 36-year old attacking midfielder became a free agent this summer, having spent the last ten years plying his trade at Carrow Road.
The former Republic of Ireland international made 354 appearances for the Canaries, scoring 53 goals.

Speculation had suggested that Hoolahan was to move abroad this summer, but now it appears that Fleetwood is the most likely destination for the player.
The League One side currently sit sixth in the league table, having won seven points in four games.
