Jamal Lewis ruled out of West Brom clash

Norwich City have been dealt an injury blow ahead of this weekend’s game with West Brom after Jamal Lewis suffered a setback during his return to full fitness, meaning he will not be ready to feature.

The Canaries had hoped that the 20-year-old would be back fit and firing for the clash against the Baggies but as per the EDP’s Paddy Davitt, the left-back picked up a dead leg two days ago which has set him back.

Lewis missed the latter stages of pre-season due to illness but was hoping to be ready for the first home game of the new campaign, but he’ll need to wait a bit longer before making his first league appearance of the season.

The injury to Lewis means that James Husband will feature at left-back once again, as he did during the 2-2 draw with Birmingham City last weekend.
