Norwich player ratings: Wolfsburg (A)

Norwich City stepped up their preparations for the 2018/19 campaign with a 1-1 friendly draw against Bundesliga side Wolfsburg.

Daniel Farke named a strong starting line-up for the clash against Wolfsburg, who only narrowly avoided relegation to the second tier of German football last season.

Norwich took a surprise lead against their counterparts early on as Onel Hernandez was able to make the most of Tom Trybull’s wayward strike from distance, finishing well to make it 1-0.

Wolfsburg had a fair share of possession in the first-half but Norwich continued to threaten, as the Canaries headed into the interval with a lead.

However, in the final stretch of the clash, Josuha Guilavogui was able to capitalise on some poor marking from Norwich at a free-kick to help his side come away with a 1-1 draw.

In what was a rather successful runout for Daniel Farke’s side, here are our Norwich City player ratings from the pre-season encounter with Wolfsburg.
