Norwich City have confirmed the signing of Sheffield Wednesday striker Jordan Rhodes on a season-long loan deal.

The club have announced that Rhodes has joined on loan and will link up with the rest of the squad for their pre-season tour of Germany.

Rhodes has become Norwich’s sixth signing of the summer, joining Moritz Leitner, Ben Marshall, Felix Passlack, Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki at Carrow Road.

The striker scored five goals for Sheffield Wednesday last season, as he struggled to find a place in the team.

Rhodes has scored almost 200 career goals and scored over 20 Championship goals for three seasons in-a-row whilst at Blackburn.

Norwich have been heavily linked to Jordan Rhodes in the past, dating back six years to his time with Huddersfield.

The Scottish international started his career in Suffolk with Norwich’s rivals Ipswich.
