Norwich given boost in Palmer pursuit

Norwich City have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Chelsea midfielder Kasey Palmer.

According to The Mirror, Derby are unsure on whether they want to bring Palmer back to the IPro next season.

The report claims that Derby boss Frank Lampard has not yet made a decision on the transfer.

Norwich have reportedly made an offer to Chelsea to take the youngster on loan, as they look to add more creativity to their side.

Daniel Farke has already brought in five new recruits ahead of next season, with Ben Marshall, Moritz Leitner, Felix Passlack, Emi Buendia and Teemu Pukki all coming in.

Palmer spent the second half of last season on loan to Derby after his deal with Huddersfield in the Premier League was cut short.

The report also claims that Chelsea will loan Palmer out and, that, Norwich’s chances of signing Palmer have been boosted.
