Derby County have made an approach for Norwich City target Kasey Palmer this week.
According to West London Sport, Derby have made their move for Palmer as they look to snap up the young midfielder on a loan deal.
It was reported earlier this week that Norwich had made an offer to Chelsea, with Palmer set to wait until Chelsea appoint their new manager before making a final decision on his future.

Palmer spent the second-half of last season on loan to Derby in the Championship, where he impressed under Gary Rowett.
However, Frank Lampard is now in charge of The Rams and could use his connections with Chelsea to secure a deal for Palmer ahead of Norwich.
Norwich completed their fifth signing of the summer on Monday as they completed a deal to sign Felix Passlack on loan from German giants Borussia Dortmund.
