Championship side QPR have confirmed the signing of German centre back Toni Leistner from Union Berlin.
Leistner was heavily linked with a move to Norwich in the past few transfer windows, with sporting director Stuart Webber even pictured with his agent at a Berlin match.

Leistner’s contract with Union Berlin expired on Sunday, with QPR moving quickly to snap up the defender on a free.
The centre-back has been a consistent performer in the 2. Bundesliga for Berlin over the past three seasons and will now be looking to recreate that form in the Championship.
Norwich are not expected to look at improving their defence this summer, after 16 clean sheets in all competitions last season.
Christoph Zimmermann, Grant Hanley and Timm Klose are expected to start the season as Norwich’s first-choice defensive three.
