Norwich offer Jamal Lewis new deal

Norwich City have offered Jamal Lewis a new contract with the club, according to TalkSport.

TalkSport journalist Geoff Peters claims that Norwich have presented Lewis with a new deal, amid interest from a number of Premier League teams.

Watford, Burnley, Bournemouth and West Ham are all thought to be interested in the young defender, who burst onto the scene last season.

The 20-year-old defender has one cap for Northern Ireland, which came in a friendly against South Korea.

The report also claims that Lewis is in no rush to leave Norwich, which could indicate that he will sign a new contract over the coming weeks.

Lewis made his debut on boxing day last year – against Birmingham – and scored his first senior goal against Chelsea in the FA Cup back in January.
