Millwall have reportedly made a substantial bid to sign Norwich City target Ben Marshall.
The Canaries have been heavily linked with a move for the versatile Wolves star, who is looking set to leave Molineux on a permanent basis ahead of next season.
However, it seems Millwall have stolen a march in the race to land Marshall, with Sky Sports reporting that the club have submitted a club-record bid worth £1.25m for the player.

Marshall spent the second half of last season on loan at The Den and caught the eye with some impressive performances for his side. This appears to have prompted them to pursue the wide player on a permanent basis.
It’s believed by Sky Sports that Marshall, having enjoyed his temporary spell with Millwall, has identified the London club as his destination of choice, throwing Norwich’s chances of signing him into doubt.
It remains to be seen whether or not Wolves will accept Millwall’s bid, but it seems they are at the front of the queue for Marshall’s signature.
