Norwich City have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of St. Pauli striker Marvin Ducksch.
According to claims from leading German news outlet BILD, the forward is closing in on a move to newly-promoted Bundesliga side Fortuna Düsseldorf this summer.
Ducksch was understood to have been a top target for Norwich boss Daniel Farke as the Canaries aimed to remedy their troubles in front of goal from last term.

However, they look set to miss out on the forward who spent last season on loan at Holsten Kiel, with a move to Fortuna Düsseldorf close to completion, according to reports.
BILD claim that a deal worth €1.5 million is set to be secured by the German club, with a further sum of €1m potentially available to St. Pauli through additional bonuses.
Norwich are now likely to be forced to look elsewhere for attacking options as they look to reinvest some of the money gained through the sales of Marley Watkins, James Maddison and Josh Murphy.
