Norwich City are reportedly lining up a loan move for Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
It’s claimed by Lee Ryder of the Newcastle Chronicle that the youngster is set for yet another loan spell away from St James’ Park, with the Canaries among the clubs keen to capitalise on this opportunity.
Following the expiry of Angus Gunn’s loan deal at Carrow Road, Norwich are looking to recruit a new goalkeeper despite having Remi Matthews available for selection ahead of next season.

Manchester United’s Dean Henderson has been linked with a temporary switch to Norwich but the latest name to be linked is 21-year-old Woodman.
Across the span of the last two seasons, Woodman has enjoyed loan spells in Scotland, featuring for both Aberdeen and Kilmarnock. Ahead of next season, though, it seems a move to an English club is on the cards, with Norwich and Sheffield United linked.
Woodman, fresh from helping England’s youth side win the Toulon Tournament once again, is desperate for first-team football next season, and Norwich are evidently hoping to provide him with just that.
