Norwich target McNair valued at £7m

Norwich City target Paddy McNair has been valued at £7 million by Sunderland following their relegation to the Championship, according to the Northern Echo.

They face competition with Premier League clubs Wolves and Brighton, but remain confident of landing the player this summer.

No offers are yet to be made, but the Canaries are confident of getting their man.

The young defender is keen to move back to the Premier League which would rule Norwich out of the picture and favour a move to Brighton or Wolves.

The North-East side brought him for £5.5 million and are looking to gain a profit of what they paid for him back in 2016.

Norwich are likely to back out of the race, with £7m too much for the current financial situation the club finds itself in.
