Buendia spent last season on loan to Spanish second division outfit Leonesa and impressed.
He now looks set to move to Norwich in the coming days, with this post all but confirming that he will not be making his loan switch permanent.
Reports claim that Norwich have agreed a £1.5m deal for Buendia, with an announcement potentially coming soon.
The Argentine youth international scored six and assisted 13 for Leonesa last season and has now returned to Getafe – who look set to sell him to Norwich.
