Norwich City are interested in a deal to sign Paddy McNair from Sunderland, according to the Mirror.
The Canaries’ preparations for next season are well underway and a number of players have already been linked with a move to the club, with McNair being the latest.
It’s stated by the Mirror that Sunderland are ready to let the defender go this summer and will listen to offers worth in excess of £5 million. This is claimed to have piqued Norwich’s interest in a potential summer deal.

McNair was one of Sunderland’s more impressive players in what was a torrid campaign for the club as they were consigned to relegation down to League One.
Norwich will be looking to take advantage of the Black Cats’ troubled situation by landing McNair, though, if reports are to be believed.
However, they will not be the only side keen on a deal for the former Manchester United protege. According to the Mirror, Derby County and Stoke City are also keen, while Brighton had a £2m bid rejected by Sunderland recently.
