Liverpool are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder James Maddison this summer and they’ve received a boost in their pursuit of him as the Canaries are willing to let him leave.
The 21-year-old is one of the most sought-after young players in the country, with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham all keeping close tabs on him.

However, Liverpool are the favourites to get the England U21 international, but in order to do so, they’ll need to stump up around £30m to Norwich.
As reported by James Nursey of The Mirror, the Canaries are well aware of the interest in their star player and as such, they’re confident of receiving a large fee for him and therefore, they have no plans to sell him on the cheap.
Maddison has been a rare shining light in what has otherwise been a disappointing season for Norwich and they plan to use the funds raised by selling him to improve other areas of their squad as they hope to make a promotion push next year.
