Eintracht Braunschweig’s Onel Hernandez has agreed personal terms with Norwich City and will take his medical with the club today, according to the EDP’s Paddy Davitt.

The 24-year-old only joined Braunschweig in 2016 but his displays have seemingly impressed Norwich, who are expected to pay around £1.7m to acquire him.

He’s scored one goal and has two assists in 17 league games so far this season, and he’lll be looking to improve on those numbers when the transfer to Carrow Road is completed.
Hernandez can play on either flank or in a central role and will provide Daniel Farke with an option to use in any of those roles as he looks to build a squad capable of making a late push to end the season in the playoffs.
