Martin set for Rangers move

Scottish Premier League club Rangers are set to bring in Norwich’s Russell Martin on loan until the end of the season, as reported by Daily Record.

Rangers want to sign the centre-back until the end of the season to improve their defensive options as they look to build upon their current third place position in the table.

Graeme Murty is set to complete his third loan deal of the window after securing the deals of Sean Goss and Jamie Murphy in a bid to put the pressure on Celtic at the top of the table.

Murty and Martin both worked together at Norwich, so the defender is a player he knows well.

The Norwich central defender has been limited to just seven appearances so far this season, the last of which came all the way back in August which has prompted his need for a move on loan in January.
