Norwich City defender Timm Klose is being linked with a return to FC Basel this month.
The Swiss international played for the club’s youth ranks during the early stages of his career and it seems a return to his homeland could be on the cards, if Blick are to believed.
The news outlet, based in Switzerland, claim that Basel are weighing up their options as they prepare for the potential departure of current centre-back Manuel Akanji.
Promising defender Akanji is being courted by a number of top clubs across Europe including Borussia Dortmund and Liverpool, and it seems he could be set for pastures new in the near future.
Klose has been at Norwich since 2016 and has been a key player for the Canaries. He particularly impressed during the club’s season in the Premier League and it seems he is still attracting interest.
The towering centre-back has started 19 games for Norwich this season.
