Norwich 0-0 Chelsea: Four things we learned

Norwich City defended stoutly to hold Chelsea to a 0-0 draw at Carrow Road on Saturday.

The Canaries held the Premier League champions to a draw, forcing a replay at Stamford Bridge later this month.

Christoph Zimmermann, Timm Klose and Grant Hanley lined up at the back for Norwich, keeping out wave after wave of Chelsea attacks.

The closest Norwich came to scoring was when Josh Murphy beat Antonio Rudiger on the left and flashed a cross-cum-shot across the face of goal.

Chelsea failed to create many clear-cut chances, with Norwich’s defence standing firm.

Angus Gunn made one big save, when he got down quickly to turn a shot from Willian around the post for a corner.
