Pritchard has been touted as a possible transfer target for the Terriers, but now a move looks unlikely, despite Wagner expressing his admiration for the player.
The 24-year-old has found regular game time hard to come by this season after injuries halted the start of his campaign.
Since returning from injury, Pritchard has started just five times for the Canaries.
Pritchard, who is very highly thought of at Norwich appears to be rediscovering his best form with a goal and two assists in his last three matches.
Norwich will be desperate to keep hold of their best players, having paid a reported £8.5 million to sign him from Tottenham, it would take a similar price for them to even entertain the idea of a deal.
