Reports surfaced in the last few days that Norwich were supposedly holding talks to sign Braunschweig attacker Onel Hernandez, but it appears as if they have now been confirmed.
Denise Schäfer, a spokeswoman for the 2.Bundesliga outfit, has confirmed that Norwich are in talks to sign the 24-year-old winger in the January transfer window.
The Cuban-born former German youth international joined Braunschweig on a free transfer from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2016 and has impressed for his current side over the last 18 months, scoring six goals and providing seven assists in 54 appearances for the club.
Norwich have scored just 24 goals in 24 Championship games so far this season and head coach Daniel Farke will look to bring in a new attacker or two during next month’s transfer window and it appears as if Hernandez is one of his preferred targets.
