Norwich 3-1 Sheffield Wednesday: Four things learned

Norwich City won for the first time in ten games as they beat Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 on Saturday.

The Canaries found their goalscoring touch for the televised Championship encounter, scoring all three goals in the second half.

It was the visitors, however, who took the lead in the game. Jordan Rhodes headed home from close range after Norwich were caught napping from a throw-in.

Alex Pritchard, on his first start of the season, turned on the accelerator in the second half to burst through the Wednesday defence, with Westwood palming his effort into the path of James Maddison to bundle the ball in.

Maddison then turned provider as his corner was superbly met by Timm Klose, who powered in a header to make it 2-1 – his second of the season.

The game was wrapped up in injury time as Nelson Oliveira scored from the spot after Harrison Reed was upended.

Here are four things we learned from the match…
