According to German journalist Dominik Hamers, Marco Stiepermann will complete his move to Norwich City later tonight.

Hamers confirms that Stiepermann is set to sign for Norwich having been heavily linked over the past week.

Stiepermann is able to operate in midfield or at left-back, which would make him a very useful option for Farke.

The 26-year-old played 32 in the 2. Bundesliga last season, having joined the club last summer from Greuther Fürth for €700k.

Stiepermann shares the same agent as Marcel Franke, who signed for Norwich last month from Greuther Fürth.

We understand that Norwich will be paying a fee in the region of £750k for Stiepermann to complete the deal.

Stiepermann now looks set to become Norwich’s ninth summer signing, following on from Tom Trybull.

Trybull joined Norwich on a free transfer on Friday, signing a one-year deal.
