According to a report by the EDP , one of Norwich’s top youth prospects, Benny Ashley-Seal, is now on a trial at Chelsea.
The 18-year-old striker has been highly rated by many Norwich fans, and many reckoned that he would achieve big things for the club so it would certainly be a big blow for the academy, and indeed the club in general, if they lose him.
Ashley-Seal has reportedly snubbed a professional contract offered by Norwich and he has gone on trial at Chlesea, where he recently played an hour for their development squad in a win against Aldershot Town
The talented youngster has been playing for the U23’s this season, despite only being 18, where he scored four goals in 32 games in the U23 Premier League. Meanwhile, in the U18’s league, where he has also featured, he scored three in four matches.
Ashley-Seal has been at Norwich since he was 13, playing for the U14’s, and has been linked with moves to Arsenal and Leicester in the past and although he has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Canaries, his time at the club could already be about to come to an end.
