Murphy included for Norwich’s Germany tour
Jacob Murphy has travelled with Norwich City for a training camp and friendlies in Germany, amongst speculation he is set for a move to Newcastle.
The club announced this evening the official squad that has travelled to Germany, with the 22-year-old part of the 24-man squad that will play two friendlies during their week in Daniel Farke’s homeland.
Tony Andreu, who has been rumoured to be surplus to requirements at City, has been relegated to joining the U23 squad’s camp, which also includes two friendlies against senior and youth opposition respectively.
The notable exception from the U23s is Benny Ashley-Seal, rumoured to be moving to Leicester to link back up with ex-U23 manager Dmitri Halajko. However, the youth team does contain three trialists, Pierre Xavier Fonkeu of Club Brugge, Will Wright of Hitchin Town and Adam Phillips, who was recently released by Liverpool.
Norwich face MSV Dusiburg on Wednesday night, and then face Arminia Bielefeld on Friday night.
